Zuku WiFi password: how to find, change, and secure it
Learn where to find your Zuku WiFi password, how to change it, and best practices for network security.
Overview
What is the Zuku WiFi password?
The WiFi password is the key you enter, along with your SSID, to connect devices to your wireless network. It is separate from the router admin login.
Why it matters
A strong password helps prevent unauthorized access and protects your internet usage and connected devices.
Finding or viewing your current password
From your router label
Many Zuku routers print the default SSID and password on a label on the back or bottom. If you have not changed it, this is the password you’ll use.
In your account or app (if applicable)
Some providers offer a mobile app or online dashboard that shows your current WiFi password or lets you reset it. If you use one, sign in and check Wireless or Network settings.
Changing the WiFi password
Accessing the router admin page
Connect to the router and enter the gateway address into a web browser. The address and the login credentials are usually on the router label or in the manual. If unsure, contact Zuku support.
Locating the password field
In the admin interface, look for sections labeled Wireless, Wireless Security, or Wi‑Fi Settings. The password may be called Password, Passphrase, or Network Key and is typically under WPA2/WPA3 settings.
Saving changes
Enter the new password, save or Apply, and wait for the router to update. You’ll need to reconnect all devices with the new password.
Resetting the router to factory settings
When you should reset
If you’ve forgotten the admin password or the settings are misbehaving, a factory reset restores defaults so you can set up again.
How to reset safely
With the device powered on, press and hold the Reset button for about 10 seconds until the lights blink. After reset, use the default network name and password printed on the device label and reconfigure your settings.
Security best practices
Use WPA2 or WPA3
Choose the strongest compatible protocol supported by your router.
Use a strong password
Aim for at least 12 characters with a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols.
Separate guest network
If available, enable a guest network to keep your main network private and limit device access.
Troubleshooting common issues
Forgot password
If you don’t remember the current WiFi password, use the router label or reset to factory settings to re-create it, then set a new one.
Can't access admin page
Ensure the device is connected to the router, try a different browser, and verify you are using the correct gateway address. If issues persist, contact Zuku support.
